"Kennedy Nonfiction" Content Paragraph

Learning about President Kennedy's death and his life helped me learned a lot of things. In Ms.Priesters english class we read about JFK and his time as president and what happened leading up to his death. When JFK was murdered he was fighting against rasicm it was very common back then. It still is now, but not as bad as before. History help you understand nonfiction more because they have more facts to go behind the story.

Kennedy Nonfiction: Before You Read - Primary or Secondary Source

Id rather learn about a crime scene by a secondary source. I like to hear a lot of different views when things happen and not just the view from one person. It's interesting to hear different perspective from news reporters or eye witnesses because they were actually their and saw what happened or talked to the people who saw it. Some people don't think it would as accurate because its not a primary source. I think secondary sources broadens your view.

American History Content Paragraph

I think that Elena needed to be more worried about JFK's death. It does impact her, because she's not allowed to see Eugene because she is puerto rican. JFK was fighting rasicm, if their wasn't rasicm she would have been able to see Eugene. Elena was all boy crazy and just simply caught up in how much she liked Eugene. Many people don't care about anything political but history changes our lives everday.

 One time I went to a store with about 4-5 of my friends. We all just wanted to window shop and look around. We came across a little store called shoe repair , it had a lot of cute stuff in the windows so we went in. As soon as we came in both the husband and the wife came from the back of the store screaming "ONE AT A TIME PLEASE, ONE AT A TIME!" We were confused and just backed up. So I went in first and asked " Why only one at a time?" She said because she didn't want more than one black person in her store because they couldn't keep track of them. I then again asked why and she said because black people are theives. I then just walked out. I was very upset because every race steals. Even though some races steal more then others its wrong to just classify african americans as thieves.
